Notes: Named WWI U.S. Army Purple Heart group to Harold (Harry) Coward, comprising a replacement Purple Heart with official entitlement paperwork, original WWI discharge and service documents, Victory Medal paperwork, associated archive and duplicate photocopies. Coward was wounded in action near Château-Thierry on 23 June 1918.
Please note: This group originates from the same family as the William Douglas Southon RNVR Officer Medal Group also listed separately on eBay. The two groups were acquired together from the same estate and represent the military service of different members of the same family.
